About the role
Fleet dispatcher are TruKKer’s on ground representative available right at the destination of the client site or port. Hence the ideal dispatcher should enjoy great communication and negotiation skills.
The key roles and responsibilities will include:
- Participate in developing market intelligence base of fleet suppliers to select qualified vehicles/ drivers/ contractors through effective networking
- Effective networking should include maintaining relations with personnel inside the port or at the client’s site
- Schedule, route and track the vehicles under our management
- Negotiate with truck owners and contractors
- Resolve disputes (truck tariffs/ delays fees/ etc.)
- Respond to received orders by making sure being available at the requested destination at the right time to monitor commodities pickups and drop offs
- Review assigned drivers’ licenses and make sure they are valid and in abidance with the laws and regulations
- Make sure bills of lading for running job orders are properly filled and signed by the drivers
- Upload relevant documents to the dashboard at the various stages of the execution of the running operations
- Coordinate with the team members (fleet/ops) to update them with any status changes
- Ensure on time collection of orders’ relevant documents and submit it to the concerned Business Unit immediately upon the completion of the order for further forwarding to the HQ in Cairo for invoicing purposes
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hold a high school degree at least
- +2 year in similar position as dispatcher in the field of (Logistics – Trucking )
- Well organized & can Perform multi tasks
- Good communication & Negotiation skills
- Have connections of trucks owners/providers
