About the role

TruKKer Sales Executive develops and maintains client relationships by developing effective ways to transport customers freight utilizing TruKKer Inland services. This role serves in a sales capacity and communicates with both customers and operations team. Responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client specific needs, promoting and selling TruKKer Inland services, and maintaining sales goals, targets and objectives.

The key roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Cultivate new sales leads to establish business and revenue growth.
  • Sell and negotiate TruKKer Inland services.
  • Responsible for securing and maintaining new business.
  • Provide quotes for current and prospective clients.
  • Ability to make visits, phone calls and spend in excess of five hours on the telephone every day.
  • Perform analytical and logistics planning with the clients and TruKKer Operations team.
  • Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide follow-up customer satisfaction with clients as needed.
  • Achieve individual, team, and company goals.
  • Work closely with Operation Managers to ensure customer freight is being moved efficiently.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to negotiate rates, sell services, and build professional relationships via visits, telephone and email.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decision- making skills.
