About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Job Functions:

• Design and architect complex, scalable web applications
• Develop and code business applications, multi-tiered web and client server applications using: C#, SQL, HTML5, JQuery,and Javascript
• Maintain and enhance existing applications
• Write and supervise the technical product documentation
• Technical design, mentoring and implementation of best practices and processes
• Develop the software architecture based on the business requirements and constraints
• Ensure efficiency of your team by giving them technical advices along the delivery process
• Be responsible to deliver proof of concepts which validates technical choices
• Organize knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• For recruitment process, be responsible to assess technical capabilities of candidates

Requirements:

• Proven experience of leading a team of software Engineers including performance, development and disciplinary issues.
• Proven ability of tackling challenging projects
• Understanding and application of design patterns
• Demonstrable .NET programming ability with in-depth understanding of underpinning techniques.
• Experience in full software development lifecycle from design to deployment
• A proven track record of developing high quality software to business specification whilst understanding processes and requirements.
• Experience using SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience recruiting staff and building development teams
• Displays technical leadership and encourage it within others
• Demonstrates intellectual rigour, possesses relevant abilities and is able to pick up new skills quickly.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach, getting things done, demonstrates accountability & ownership, prioritises own workload.
• Able to work well under pressure, flexible, positive & focused during times of change.
• Able to solve complex problems, participates in continuous improvement, adapts the ideas of others.
• Ability to apply learned skills, awareness beyond immediate area/role.
