About the role:

The ‘Head of Operations’ will be responsible for making sure our services are timely offered at the most efficient cost through setting up strategic business planning framework and building up teams of professionals to perform the operational duties aimed at achieving the business goals for both the Marine, Domestic and Cross borders sectors. Main Goals are summarized in achieving target profit margins and maintaining if not exceeding 100% customer satisfaction levels

The key roles and responsibilities will include:

• Plan the Business Units/ Branches/ Stations setup to ensure optimum efficiency in both operations and capacity
• Setup Operations teams for both Marine, Domestic and Cross borders’ sectors and develop the hiring plans accordingly
• Develop and setup the company’s Risk Management System
• Management of the Operations & Fleet teams
• Management of 3rd parties’ logistics service providers that we might need to engage with
• Use own networking connections to ensure smooth and efficient carry on of the Operational duties during emergencies and on exceptional basis whenever needed
• Make successful partnerships with 3rd parties service providers
• Make sure Ops plan is implemented tightly to meet the Company’s targets and objectives
• Constantly review the expenses list, rates and tariffs to achieve a main target of making maximum cost savings that reflect in the Company’s profit margins
• Ensure maintaining quality throughout the operational process
• Ensure Ops abidance to the company’s rules and regulations and compliance to the State laws
• Design policies and deploy Trukker’s smart technology solutions
• Resolve disputes

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree is a must
• Previous experience as head of logistics and Operations
• Good Computer Skills (Office applications)
• Well organized
• have strong Management & Communication skills
• Attention to details
• Analytical Decision Maker & problem solver
• Professional in dealing with deadlines
